1. Who we are

KickReviews (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a software service that helps home service businesses collect customer feedback and Google reviews via SMS. Our service is operated by the KickReviews team.

2. What information we collect

From business owners (our users):

Name, email address, and password (for account creation)
Business name, phone number, and Google review URL
Customer names and phone numbers you add to the platform
Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details)

From your customers (end recipients of SMS):

Name and phone number (provided by you, the business owner)
Survey responses and private feedback they choose to submit
Whether they opened the survey link or clicked through to Google

3. How we use your information

To provide and operate the KickReviews service
To send SMS messages to your customers on your behalf
To show you survey results and analytics in your dashboard
To send you transactional emails (account confirmation, billing)
To improve our product and fix bugs

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to any third party.

4. SMS messaging and TCPA compliance

By adding a customer's phone number to KickReviews, you confirm that you have obtained their prior express consent to receive SMS messages from your business. You are responsible for ensuring this consent is valid under applicable law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

Every SMS we send includes an opt-out instruction (“Reply STOP to opt out”). When a customer replies STOP, we immediately mark them as opted out and will not send them further messages.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with the following trusted service providers, strictly to operate our service:

Twilio — to deliver SMS messages
Supabase — to store and manage your data securely
Stripe — to process payments
Vercel — to host the application

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and hashed password storage. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Export your customer data at any time from the dashboard

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or with a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of KickReviews after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
